Soiree Musicale and End of Season Party

The English Arts Chorale ended the season with a concert with a French theme. The choir performed Duruflé’s Requiem and Poulenc’s Gloria, led by Leslie Olive, with Jay Britton singing the solos. Jonathan Lilley played an enchanting organ work by Françaix Suite Carmélites.

After the afternoon rehearsal, it was all hands on deck to prepare for the end of season party which followed the concert. Everyone enjoyed a delicious spread of French pâté, cheeses, crudités, French bread, wine and more. It was a magnifique way to celebrate the end of a highly successful season for the EAC and launch next year’s exciting programme of concerts and workshops.
