On Saturday 6th December at St Mary's Church, Reigate, The English Arts Chorale will present a candlelit performance of Handel's wonderful oratorio Messiah.

The work starts with words from the Old Testament prophets foretelling the coming of Jesus, through His birth, life, death and resurrection to the early Christian church as told in the Book of Revelation.

Come and enjoy complimentary mulled wine and mince pies and wonderful music to start your Christmas celebrations on a high note!

Under the baton of their founder and conductor Leslie Olive, together with the Camerata of London, The English Arts Chorale has assembled a group of first-class soloists for this concert.

Bibi Heal (soprano) is well known locally and internationally for her fine performances in oratorio and opera. Emily Bauer-Jones (contralto) and Neil Jenkins (tenor) have performed many times with EAC, notably in Elgar's major works The Dream of Gerontius and The Kingdom. The bass soloist, Mark Oldfield, is much in demand around the world for his opera and oratorio appearances.
